About the Facilitator Anna Talhami

A celebrated speaker, educator and writer, Anna Talhami works at the intersection of spirituality, sacred words, and human rights, building bridges across differences towards recognizing our wholeness. She has taught across the U.S. and around the world on Judaism, allyship, DEI (diversity, equity, and inclusion), peace building, and generational trauma healing for collective liberation. She has facilitated processing circles for rabbis and cantors, taught in-depth halakha (Jewish law) to Jewish leaders towards more inclusion, and has been invited to translate and interpret ancient Hebrew liturgy for synagogue services. Her poems have been shared by rabbis in many synagogues and Jewish meditation retreats. Anna has spoken on interfaith panels including Queer Faith at Fort Washington Collegiate Church in New York City, as well taught her work to leading professors and PhD students of Theopoetics. Her training includes at the Center for Dialogue in Oswiecim (Auschwitz), Poland and her work has been presented at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington, D.C.
