Comfort Arthur
Comfort Arthur is a British born Ghanaian award-winning Animator and artist. Comfort Arthur had her training at the Royal College of Arts (London). In 2012 she moved to Ghana to become a film editor before leaving her job to set up The Comfy Studio, a multimedia studio based in Ghana. The company produces animation, illustration and live action content.
In 2016 her short animation film “Imagine” won best Animation at the Golden Movie Awards. The following year her short film "Black Barbie" starring Ama K Abebrese has been an international hit and has been screened at over 50 film festivals across the world. "Black Barbie" is currently being used in schools under “INTO FILM” film clubs in England as education resources. The film "Black Barbie" is currently being published into a children’s book in America.
